How ABA Can Help Your Child

ABA therapy uses evidence-based tools and techniques to help autistic children achieve a variety of goals. Goals within an ABA program are established in collaboration with a Behaviour Analyst and a family. The goals that are focused on during ABA therapy sessions are ones that are meaningful for the family and child.

There are many areas that can be improved through the use of ABA therapy, including:  *communication & language

*play, leisure, & social interaction

*toileting and other daily living activities

*building tolerance for waiting

*emotional regulation

*learning and school readiness

ABA therapy can occur in the family home, which allows your child to learn new skills in a familiar environment. It can also occur within school settings, if suitable and available.  â€‹â€‹
